Following the decision by Canada’s Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism, the only consultants who can legally provide immigration services for a fee are members of the Council – known as Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants (RCIC). The Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC/the Council) is the regulatory body for immigration consultants. The Council is working hard to make positive changes in the regulation of this profession. As a non-profit organization, the Council’s objective is to fairly and effectively regulate immigration consultants with accountability and transparency. Beware of ghost agents. Universal immigration is ICCRC member and registered Quebec immigration consultants, has expertise in this immigration program.
